The Ram Mandir is a sacred place located in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India , at the site traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Rama, a prominent Hindu deity.

The history of the Ram Mandir is a controversial one . The commencement of the temple’s construction followed a pivotal Supreme Court verdict in 2019, which awarded the disputed land to the Hindu community for the purpose of building the temple. The construction process officially began after the groundbreaking ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) held on August 5, 2020.
