Mentioning NBA players active today who will leave the league with at least one MVP award

NBA Players

What does Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant all have in common? They are some of the most prolific NBA players to ever set foot on the court and have won every accolade there is – including the coveted NBA MVP Award.

While their names are cemented in history, fans want to know who will take up the reins and become the next NBA MVP winner!

The debate for the next NBA MVP is an arduous one. However, with so many talented players now playing at the top flight, we can make an estimate for who will leave the league with at least one MVP Award. Here are the players that you should keep an eye on!

#1 Luka Doncic

As one of the most exciting talents to come through in the last few years, Luka Doncic is already a bonafide star in his own rights. The Serbian point guard for the Dallas Mavericks was drafted into the NBA in 2018 and has already won the Rookie of the Year award.

Unfortunately, his team’s lackluster performance during the season has somewhat overshadowed his talents on the court. But with some time, there is no doubt that Luka will become a superstar and is already on his way to claiming his first NBA MVP award.

#2 Devin Booker

Devin Booker is an up-and-coming star for the Phoenix Suns. He was prolific in the Suns’ run to the NBA finals in the 2020-21 season. Since then, the player has only grown and matured, showing his immense determination for the game.

He even played against the Clippers with a broken nose! But despite his team’s shortcomings in the league, Devin proved that he is a soon-to-be world-class player after winning the Gold medal with the USA team during the Tokyo Olympics. And he is likely to win his first NBA MVP Award soon as well!

#3 Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is a true baller by definition and is a gem for the Portland Trail Blazers. His three-point shots are mesmerizing to watch and he can pull them off from seemingly anywhere. Although the Trail Blazers’ had to make some early exits, Damian stood out on the court as one of the best.

Fans resonate with Lillard’s focus on and off the pitch, and the player also has the talent to boot. Even if he comes off looking a bit inexperienced at times, there is bound to be at least one NBA MVP Award with his name on it.
