James Edward Harden Jr. is a basketball player of the National Basketball Association. He plays for the Los Angeles Clippers as a Shooting Guard. He is also a two-time member of the United States National team. He won gold medals at the Summer Olympic in 2012 and in 2014 FIBA world Cup.

On Monday night James Harden made his debut with the Los Angeles Clippers. While playing with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, he also brought out his latest signature sneakers for the very first time. In May 2023 the shoes were 1st teased as James Harden and Adidas shared a first look of the sneakers. 

Adidas Harden Vol 8.

Adidas had made Harden one of the faces of its NBA campaign. They signed him in 2015 in a 13 year deal worth $200 million. 

Monday night James Harden debuted the Adidas Vol. 8 in his first game with the Los Angeles Clippers though they lost the game (111-97) with the New York Knicks. Harden did attract some attention. As he provided 17 points in his first game and despite this loss he sees a ton of potential in the future of his team.

While his performance was the focus for many, sneakerheads were attracted to his new pair of sneakers as it marks a noticeable design. Harden brought out his next signature shoe series with Adidas Harden Vol. 8. It’s combined with black and orange. There is currently no release date, pricing, or tech spec information available for Adidas Harden Vol. 8. But according to some sources it’s most likely that the Harden Vol. 8 will launch next spring via Adidas and select retailers.

Professional career of James Harden

James Harden’s professional career in basketball is quite interesting as he frequently changes teams. Harden was selected by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the third overall pick in the 2009 NBA draft. In 2012 Harden was traded to Houston Rockets as the contract extension with the Thunder.

He signed a contract with the Houston Rockets for five years worth $80 million. On January 14, 2021, Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets. And next year on February 10, the Nets traded Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers.

He made his Sixers debut on February 25, putting up 27 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds in a 133-102 win. After the 2022-23 season, Harden picked up his $35.6 million option to remain with the 76ers but eventually he requested for a trade. After confirmation of the Los Angeles Clippers he stated,”Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he is part of.” In November 6 he made his debut in the Los Angeles clippers.
