Kim Kardashian Gets Into Business With NBA: Adam Silver’s hilarious statement

Skims, co-founded by Kardashian, Emma Grede and Jens Grede, has offered lingerie and compression shapewear since 2019. Kardashian recently introduced Skims Men’s collection and last week NBA announced its multi-year partnership with Skims.

And the partnership between Skims and the NBA comes as the expansion of the shapewear brand. But NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s statement stole all the limelight as he said, ” Although I’m not going to show you,I’m wearing them right now.” And he is loving the new collaboration with Skims. He believes the underwear will surely help the player to perform better as they are so comfortable. He also added “I strongly recommend them to everyone.”

Many of the country’s best basketball players will now wear Skims underwear under their Jerseys. The brand also stated that they plan to show up in unexpected ways at key events. Skims partnership with the NBA is not the brand’s first sudden entry into sports. The shapewear brand was the official underwear of the U.S Olympic Team at the Tokyo summer 2021 Olympics.

Skims Finally Making Men’s Underwear

Last week Skims announced they are launching a men’s collection of briefs, boxers, tanks, and T-shirts. As part of the launch campaign the brand signed many well known athletes including NFL Player Nick Bosa, NBA star Shai Gilgeous Alexander and international Soccer star Neymar Jr. The line did million of dollars in sales in just a few minutes after launch.

“Skims has quickly become one of our most culturally influential brands, NBA Adam Silver stated. “We look forward to bringing NBA fans and Skims users unique experiences, new offerings and premium products through our partnership.”

Skims just launched a new variety of underwear for men and are hoping to attract new customers. Will men actually buy skims underwear? Yes they probably will as it was proven on their launch day as they earn millions of dollars per minute. And with their partnership with the NBA they surely will be at new heights. Kardashian said in a statement “I am incredibly proud of skims partnership with the NBA, as it is a reflection of skims growing influence on culture.”
