The Hadid sisters are a well-known personality in the modeling industry. Gigi and Bella both are endorsed in many world famous brands including brands like Anna Sui, Chanel, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, Versace and Victoria’s Secret.

They are endorsed by these brands for millions of millions of dollars. Recently Bella hadid has been removed from a few brands for her certain actions. But what caused this IMG model to be cut off suddenly?

Bella Hadid, a 27 years old international model is well known for her established career in the modeling industry. She has been known for her polite, always on time and hard earned personality. Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, was already related to this industry yet the hadid worked hard to make her own position.

In 2015, she made her runway debut for Tom Ford at New York City’s Fashion Week. She was signed as an ambassador of Dior Makeup back in 2016, at just 20 years old. Since then she has been remotely working with this internationally renowned brand. But suddenly rumors have been circulating that she has been kicked out of the deal.

The conflict started when this Palestinian-American model raised voice for the genocide that is happening in her home country, Palestine. She spoke openly about the brutality that has been happening there by Israel.

She made a plea on her Instagram with over 60.5 million followers. In that message, she shared her regret on keeping silent and later shared videos and posts on her instagram story regarding the gaza conflict. She is actively educating her 60.5 million followers about it everyday.

The problems began when people who support Palestine started boycotting Israeli brands and Dior being a supporter of Israel is blacklisted by millions of followers of her. The hashtag “Boycott Dior” is rising in social media and the followers of Hadid are using it in her recent posts too. Recent reports say Dior has replaced this Palestinian-American supermodel with Israeli model May Tager in their latest advertising campaign. A local Israeli newspaper’s statement read:

“While many companies around the world refrain from openly supporting Israel, international brand Dior has chosen Israeli model May Tager to lead their campaign, a role previously held by Bella Hadid, who has long been an advocate for the Palestinian cause and a vocal critic of Israel.”

So did speaking up for her country made her kicked off by Dior? However it is to be said to be false news since Dior nor Bella confirmed anything regarding that. This isn’t the first time she stood up for her country.

In the past she also openly called out Israel for their cruelty and later speaking to Libyan-American journalist Noor Tagouri, Bella said, “There have been so many brands that have stopped working with me. A lot of friends have also turned their backs on me.”
