Devin Haney is a racist," Khamzat Chimaev

Khamzat Chimaev, the UFC fighter who’s about to have a big fight with Paulo Costa at UFC 294, recently did something interesting off the mat. He decided to stop following professional boxer Devin Haney on social media because of some things Haney said in the past.

And after that, Khazmat Chimaev gained more followers

Why Khamzat Chimaev Did It?

Khamzat Chimaev, who’s pretty famous in the UFC world, wasn’t happy with something Devin Haney said a while ago. You see, Haney once made a statement that caused a big fuss. He said he’d “never lose to a white boy” when it came to boxing. Many people thought that was not a cool thing to say, and Khamzat Chimaev agreed.

To show his disagreement with Haney’s comments, Khamzat Chimaev stopped following him on social media. It’s like saying, “I don’t want to see what you post anymore.” Khamzat felt that Haney was acting too proud and that his words had a bit of a racist vibe.

“Yes, but I unfollowed him after that video. He’s too arrogant. He said he’ll never lose to a white boy. That’s racist. If I say I’ll never lose to a black guy, the world will be like ‘Khamzat doesn’t like black people.’ Black guys can fight white guys, what’s the difference? The goal is the same.”

Khamzat Chimaev wants to spread a message of unity and equality in sports. No matter your background or skin tone, he thinks everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed in sports. That is what matters to him, he claimed, and he has friends from all walks of life. Whether we are white, black, or any other color, in his opinion, we should all be friends.

Devin Haney, who is known in the world of boxing, said something that caused a big commotion back in 2020. He basically said that he’d never lose to a white fighter. Those words made a lot of people upset because it felt like he was being mean to people of a certain race.

Haney’s Apologised after the fuss

After all the fuss, Devin Haney realized he messed up. So, he said sorry on social media. He explained that he didn’t mean to be racist and that he was just trying to be the best at boxing. He also talked to some important people in the boxing world to make things right.

In the end, Khamzat Chimaev’s decision to unfollow Devin Haney shows that he believes in fairness and treating everyone equally in the world of sports. It’s a good lesson for all of us to remember that sports should bring us together, no matter where we’re from or what we look like.
